Troy Daily
CEO
Troy is a Traverse City native and Michigan State University alumnus (BS in Hospitality Business, 2008), who returned home in 2012 following a stint operating a Kilwins Chocolate Shoppe in Williamsburg, VA. Drawing on his upbringing in a family‑run Kilwins franchise for over 30 years, Troy has built a diversified hospitality portfolio that includes marketing ventures such as TC Brew Bus, Paddle for Pints, Daily Blend, and Kayak, Bike & Brew, along with a high-performing short‑term rental business, Elevated Homes & Hospitality.
Since 2019, Elevated Homes & Hospitality (formerly Elevated Property Management) has rapidly expanded—scaling from just 3 to over 100 short‑term rental units through data‑driven revenue management, in‑house operations, and a strong team-oriented culture. Troy continues to champion guest experience, operational excellence, and community tourism in Northern Michigan.
Jen and Steve Rubinas
Laundry Operations
After moving to Traverse City 22 years ago, Jen and Steve Rubinas have come to truly love everything about life in Northern Michigan. Both longtime local educators, they have been married for 25 years and are proud parents of two adult children.
As part of the behind-the-scenes team at Elevated, Jen and Steve take great pride in ensuring every guest enjoys fresh, clean linens throughout their stay. For them, comfort is found in the details. As Jen shares, “I want every guest to feel as comfortable as possible, and that’s why Steve and I put so much care and effort into our work.”
They truly love what they do and are excited to be part of the Elevated team, helping create a warm and welcoming experience for every guest.
Melissa Weber
Hospitality Operations, Project Management, Design
With a career dedicated entirely to the hospitality industry, Melissa Weber brings specialized expertise in Hospitality Operations, Project Management, and Interior Design to Elevated Homes & Hospitality.
Melissa is passionate about the details that transform a house into a high-performing vacation rental. At Elevated, she collaborates closely with homeowners to align their unique vision with strategic operational goals. By blending thoughtful design with efficient project execution, she ensures every property is optimized for both an exceptional guest experience and long-term owner success.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family downstate, hiking with her dog Goose, and embracing everything Northern Michigan’s four seasons have to offer, while actively working to lower her golf handicap by playing as much golf as her boss, Troy, will allow.
Whitney Hahnenberg
General Manager
I’m Whitney, the General Manager of Elevated Homes & Hospitality. I enjoy the balance of leadership, problem solving, and organization that comes with managing our hardworking team while helping maintain the high quality standards we’re known for. I take pride in keeping operations running smoothly and creating thoughtful, reliable experiences for both homeowners and guests alike.
Outside of work, I’m married to my love, Frank, and have two teenagers.
My favorite thing in my life is my dog, Buddy Bear, who’s almost always by my side and fully aware he’s in first place. When I’m not working, I love to travel, spend time with friends, cook homemade meals, and craft specialty cocktails just for fun.
I’m happiest wandering farmers markets, spending time on or near the Great Lakes, and supporting small northern Michigan businesses whenever I can. Community matters to me, and I believe the places we live and work are better when we invest in the people behind them.
Tiffine Garza
Housekeeping, In-Field Operations Manager
As the Housekeeping and in-field Operations Manager for Elevated Homes and Hospitality, I am dedicated to ensuring every guest walks into a home that feels pristine, welcoming, and perfectly prepared for their stay. My role centers on the heartbeat of our operations, managing our talented housekeeping team and overseeing the day-to-day logistics that keep our properties running at an elevated standard. From implementing rigorous damage reporting protocols to optimizing shift schedules, I take pride in the "behind-the-scenes" details that define a premium guest experience.
Originally drawn to the beauty of Northern Michigan, I am a proud parent of five children and enjoy balancing a fast-paced career with a vibrant family life. My passion for organization and team leadership is fueled by a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of what it means to create a "home away from home." When I’m not in the field or coordinating with our staff, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family or finding new ways to tie together the stories that make our house a home.
Abel Garza
Maintenance Manager
Abel is our full-time Maintenance Technician and a lifelong local who knows the area and its homes inside and out. Having lived here his entire life, Abel brings valuable hands-on experience and deep local knowledge to every property he services.
Married and a proud father of five, Abel understands the importance of reliability, safety, and caring for a home as if it were his own. He provides 24/7 maintenance support, including emergency calls, ensuring issues are handled quickly and efficiently to protect both the property and the guest experience.
Abel’s strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to being available when it matters most make him a trusted and essential part of the Elevated Homes & Hospitality team.
Fate Garcia
Head of Guest Communication and Backend Support
Fate, being part of the Elevated Homes & Hospitality from its formative stages, has supported the company’s growth by leading guest communications, training and managing the systems that support daily operations.
Before joining Elevated, Fate built over 10+ years of experience in customer service, with a career rooted in the BPO industry in the Philippines, supporting major brands across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Her background includes roles within an international airline company as well as hotel-focused support for global online travel platforms, where she worked closely with both guests and hotel partners. These experiences shaped her strong foundation in service excellence, problem-solving, and guest-centered support.
At Elevated Homes & Hospitality, Fate leads the guest communications team, ensuring thoughtful, consistent, and Unreasonable Hospitality experiences across all platforms. She also develops standard operating procedures and mentors team members with a “tough love” leadership style, balancing high standards with genuine care and support. A mother of three, her resilience and passion for solutions carry into her work every day. She believes deeply in Troy’s vision and treats Elevated Homes & Hospitality like her second home, because, in many ways, it truly is.
