The Olde Town neighborhood is fast becoming one of our favorites and is currently experiencing a resurgence as families move into the area’s charming historic homes.

And don’t forget the wineries of Traverse City. The Traverse Wine Coast is home to over 40 wineries, such as Boathouse Vineyards and Black Star Farms. You can taste your way across the region and probably never run out of new vineyards to try.

Experience Seasonal Activities

There is always something fun going on in Traverse City. May is Michigan Wine Month, and it is when we celebrate Traverse City Uncorked. The National Cherry Festival, held over the 4th of July, offers live music, special exhibits, and food that doesn’t all revolve around cherries. (But a lot of it will be cherry-related.) Traverse City Beer Week takes place in November. In the winter months, you can expect Christmas lights and events, plus a giant cherry drop at midnight on New Year’s!

Summer is a short season in Traverse City, but late June through August is perfect for beach living, and we have properties on or near most of the 20 beaches in the area.
