Off the living room, two cozy bedrooms await, each furnished with a queen bed, a closet, and access to a shared full bathroom. The neighborhood Nestled within the serenity of Suttons Bay's tranquil shoreline, our quaint cottage is situated in a peaceful neighborhood, perfectly suited for families seeking a serene and harmonious retreat. In our commitment to preserving the peaceful atmosphere, we kindly request that our guests refrain from hosting parties, large gatherings, or events on the premises. This policy extends to bachelorette and bachelor parties as well. We understand that some gatherings require a different setting, and we would be delighted to explore alternative accommodations that align with your specific needs. Getting around 5 minutes to downtown Suttons Bay 15 minutes to downtown Traverse City Travel Advisory: Local Road Construction Please note that there is ongoing road construction on Grandview Parkway between Division Street and Cherry Bend Road, which may result in slightly longer travel times to and from downtown Traverse City from your location. This construction does not affect access to the home directly and will not impact your stay at the property. We recommend allowing a few extra minutes for travel during your visit, or seeking an alternative route in Google Maps. Other things to note **Please note that during the colder months the cottage is heated through a large vent located in the living room floor. The vent can get extremely hot to the touch and should not be walked on barefoot to avoid the risk of injury.** This is a strictly non-smoking property, including all indoor and outdoor areas. For insurance and liability reasons, guests are strictly not permitted to tie any watercraft to the dock under any circumstances. Check-In: Is at 4 pm (Early Check-in is not available during peak season (May-Oct). Check-Out: Is at 10 am (Late Check out is not available during peak season (May-Oct) Dock Update (August 2025): The giant willow tree in the front yard was struck by lightning and fell on the dock a a few weeks ago. The entire tree had to be removed due a comprised root system. It was an incredibly complex removal given the proximity to the lake, house and septic system. To make it safe for everyone, we have to update this area. There is now a wonderful view and a platform with seating where the walk out to the dock was located. We also added a ladder directly to the water for easy lake access The dock only went one or two sections out in the water so the guests aren't really having a different experience, except for of course, a better view.
